Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, 100% free with no signup, no watermarks, and no limits. You can create unlimited invoices and download them as PDF files. All data is processed in your browser — nothing is sent to any server. Your business and client information stays completely private on your device.

A GST invoice is legally valid if it contains: your GSTIN, invoice number, date, HSN/SAC code, taxable value, GST breakdown (CGST+SGST or IGST), and supplier/recipient details. This tool generates invoices with all required fields for registered businesses. However, for audit purposes, always ensure your invoice numbering is sequential and your GSTIN is correct. Consult a CA for specific compliance requirements.

Yes — click "Save Draft" to save your current invoice data to your browser's local storage. Click "Load Draft" to retrieve it later on the same device and browser. Note that clearing browser data or using a different browser will remove saved drafts. For permanent storage, always download the PDF after creating each invoice.

Select your GST type (Intra-State for CGST+SGST or Inter-State for IGST), then choose the applicable GST rate (5%, 12%, 18%, or 28%). GST is automatically calculated on the subtotal after discount. For intra-state transactions, GST is split equally into CGST and SGST. For inter-state sales, full IGST is applied. If you don't need GST, select "No GST" to create a simple invoice without tax.

TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) is a tax the client deducts from your invoice before payment. Common TDS rates: 2% for professional/technical services (Section 194J), 1% for contractors (Section 194C). Enter the TDS percentage in the TDS field — it will be deducted from the total amount. The net amount payable shown is after TDS deduction. TDS applies only if the client is a registered entity and the payment exceeds the threshold limit.
